Reader's Kat

I think you'll agree that this is one sexy Katana.  Moose, the owner, has had it since 1990 and has been progressively modifying it ever since.  The bike featured in issue 54 of Streetfighters and although the bike actually started life as an ESD, or an imposter as Moose referred to it, this bike embodies all that it means to be a Katana and a Katana Special at that.

Engine:

GSX1100ESD, Wiseco 1170 big bore, dialled in cams, welded crank, Dyna coils & leads, Boyer ignition, sheilded cards, Ram-Air filters & jet kit, Goodridge breather, oil cooler, unknown pipe.

Frame:

GSX1100ESD, EFE front frame loop, severely shortened one-off rear subframe, monoshocked, rear sets.

Front End:

GSX-R1100H forks, RF900 wheel, EBC Pro-Lite disks, GSX-R1100L calipers, high bars, Katana clocks.

Rear End:

Complete EXUP rear end with a GSX-R1100J wheel.

Bodywork:

Katana tank, fairing and panels grafted onto the hybrid frame, Germanic tail unit and modified seat.

Paint:

Yes.

If you think your Kat is up to this standard send me a few good pictures (preferably in JPEG format) and a specification list similar to the one above.
